Thanks to all the advise on the Rogue and the Pfleugler. As far as the guide is concerned, this is a gift from a good friends wife to her husband for his birthday. I did insist on paying my own way but no matter what happens, I keep grinning. Besides a she gave him the trip and a Sage 8 wt...that's a nice birthday gift. I think I'll keep quiet on the guide's name right now because I think I probably have my head up and locked and it will turn out to be a great trip. I'll provide a complete after action report. Anyway no matter what happens, I'll get a couple of days on the river with a good friend. For those who asked we are going out just below the Holly Water or Shady Grove. Somewhere in there. It's not a camping trip....nights will be in a Motel. Thanks again.
