I am taking my first-ever trip to Winthrop this weekend. Will be staying at
the Wolf Creek Resort which is supposed to be on a piece of the Methow
River. I have read from time to time accounts of good fishing on this river,
but know zip about where to go, if it is even open, what to expect, etc.
If anyone can clue me in a little on the area and what might be my best
chances for some quality fishing this Thurs-Sat, I would appreciate it. I
have also heard a little about Twin Lakes, and would be willing to do some
lake fishing also if that is my best bet. My preference as always is moving
water.
