Yes! 
I do want to use a fly line running line. I have never used the braided or
flat running line so I don't know how that performs. I would think the fly
line would mend better.Basically, I was wondering if I needed a smaller
diameter for my lighter rod. I found some .027 diameter that I'm thinking
of buying.
