Hello venerable flyfishers of Washington State!
I feel like tying some flies and swapping them with other list members.
This message is only to see if there is enough interest from the list to go
on with the swap. If, so, I will function as the swapmeister.
The theme for this swap will be your "Go to Fly" for trout. You know, the
fly you always go to when nothing else is working.
I will be tying my "Easy Rider" foam-bodied dry fly. This has been a super
hot fly for me the past few months. The limit on tyers will be 12 total,
including me.
So if you want to tie up a dozen of your favorite "Go to Flies" and swap
them with your fellow listers, let me know off list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
If there is enough interest, I will contact all involved and set up the
ground rules for the swap (how many flies to tie, shipping, deadline to
have flies tied and sent, etc).
If you've never been involved in a fly swap give it a try. It's a lot of
fun, a great way to see new flies including tying and fishing directions
for each.
