That's true.  I bought one of those drying motors and placed one very thin coat of 
epoxy on wraps, then went back for another very thin coat.  I noticed on second coat 
the epoxy in spots  would not adhere to the first coat.  I later asked a guy who 
builds rods for a living (R&R Rods) and he told me you have to wipe down the rod wraps 
thoroughly with a special kind of Alcohol before applying the second coat.  My rod 
looks great, but next time I'm going to do that.  I suppose you hold your own recipe 
for epoxy as an industrial secret?
