As I've come to understand it the chums are on a 3 year cycle. 3
years ago Orca pod L had a field day camped out in Sinclair (?)
Inlet in Silverdale eating the Chico chum run. There weren't very
many fish that made it to the river that year and hence I don't think
there will be a very large return this year.
I fished the Skykomish for a little while on Tuesday afternoon.
Stayed on cracker bar and saw a few chums jump and one half
dead one swim/drift by me but didnt' see anybody catch anything.
I'll ask for suggestions later on in the week on where I should go
next Tuesday. Hopefully the rain will quit on Sunday.
