>From talking to a few folks fishing Hoodsport and Chico, I heard the Satsop
River and the Skokomish River both have fish in them. The Skokomish also
has a secondary run of silvers, from what I was told. Unfortunately, the
Skokomish is being netted at the mouth right now.
The inlet you referred to with the pod of whales was Dyes Inlet I believe.
The small run of returning fish to Chico would back up what you said about
the whales eating the fish.
Don't go to Hoodsport on Tuesday. The nets completely fill the hatchery
zone and surrounding water.
