I fished Hoodsport for 3-1/2 hrs. this morning until I couldn't take it
anymore.Besides the masses of ethical(HA HA) anglers, the fly fishing
kicked ass. Three other fly fisherman and myself had out-fished the gear
clan at least twenty to one with on-lookers closing in with every fish.
Although several of the fish I caught came in half backwards the fly
fishermen were the ONLY sportsmen with hooks in the mouth. The fish looked
in great condition for Chums, and were strong reel burners. I fished a
10-1/2' 7 weight rod with clear type three sinking line, a five foot 20#
12# maxima ultra green tippet, and a chartreuse wooly bugger with a red
head.
Don't forget to take a net.
