A fellow guide called me last night to tell me we "are toast" on the N.
Puget sound rivers (Sauk, Skagit, Stilly, Sky etc.) this spring.
He said some sort of meeting was taking place today in Olympia where changes
in the regs was "a sure thing".
Since I had not seen anything like this on the net, I assumed this had to be
some sort of grim rumor . . . until I checked out
"flyshop.com"/regional/Northwest/bulletin board.
If this is fact, then the Wildcatters have gotten exactly what they were
looking for two years ago . . . "if we can't fish and kill, then nobody
fishes".
Does anyone have any more information on this?
