Hello fellow flyfishers of Washington State,

After the great success of the first Waflyfishers Fly Swap, I've had
several requests for another. So here we go!

For those of you who have never been in a swap, I encourage you to give it
a try. You tie up 12 of your flies and in return get 12 flies back from 12
other tiers from around the state!

The theme for this swap will be your sweetest, favorite fly to tie. It
could be your best fish catcher or maybe the best lookin' fly you can crank
out. Or maybe just the easiest or hardest to tie. What ever it is, you
could be swapping this with 12 other listers.

I will be tying a beadhead black gold-ribbed hare's ear (GRHE). This is a
pattern I worked up after finding black mayfly nymphs this summer on the
Twisp River during my honeymoon. It's also been hot on the Methow,
Snoqualmie and Yakima Rivers taking some big rainbows and cutthroats.

So if you want to tie up a dozen of your "Sweetest" flies and swap
them with your fellow listers, let me know off list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
Please let me know what pattern you are tying so we can reduce duplicate
patterns if at all possible.

Since we have the holiday season coming up, please join only if you can
make the following deadlines:

The sign-up deadline for this swap is November 29th or sooner if all 12
spots on the swap are filled.

The flies need to be tied and in the mail to me by December 20th. I will
contact all swappers with more details once this swap is closed (how many
flies everyone needs to tie, where to ship, writing the recipe, etc.).

Tie one on!
