I realized that I may not have sent this the first time in plain text - so
I'll try again.
I am a new member and am interested in obtaining information on the Chum
Salmon runs on the Skagit River. I live in Richland fish the eastern
Washington lakes and Yakima River as time and family allows. I number of
years ago I started a annual pilgrimage to Hood Canal for the Chum Salmon
fishing. I became frustrated with the combat fishing conditions resulting
from a mostly hardware fishing crowd. A friend suggested the Skagit River
an I fished it for the past two years in almost solitude. Last year I
apparently arrived after the main part of the run. I am seeking information
on the timing of the Chum Salmon run near the Concrete/Rockport area. I
have an opportunity to travel to Western Washington the week after
Thanksgiving and would appreciate information on the salmon run for this
period. Thanks!
