Keith - Just returned from fishing the
Skagit. Had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery and landing a bunch of
chum salmon. Catching this morning was better than yesterday, fair hooked
and landed 4 in the first hour. What a great outing!!

Subject: Re: Skagit Forecast
The run usually peaks by
mid November but there should be some decent fish around into the first part
of December. We have had no rain for a long time and the rivers are all
extremely low. The Skagit is usually effected the least by the weather
however. There is sometimes a late run of coho that push into the Skagit in
November and the Dolly fishing should be starting up. I went for a walk
through Steelhead Park in Rockport yesterday and saw several active Chums
jumping in the faster water on the far bank. Also saw a bright red Coho jump
right in front of me in the slower water. It was a beautiful day to be
outside. Unfortunately I didn't fish. Hope you have a good
trip!
Sincerely,
Keith
