If we are thinking collectively here...
Euphausids, being light sensitive, are rising in the water column late in
the afternoon and the fish are keying in on them then. One thing I noted
the other evening was the lack of Euphausids in the surface film that I
normally see.
The other night, I was using a small size 12 candlefish and had six good
grabs before I switched to my Invis-i-sid pattern. So, at this point, I am
not sure the fish are keying in on any one feed yet. Seems to me, anything
of a small size thrown into the schools will pick up fish. Going to try out
a few other patterns Friday and send the report
