Two friends and I also fished the Yak on the 10th, nymphing the upper stretch
between Squaw Creek and the Thorp takeout. Drifted the river in our pontoon
boats, which makes the low water no problem. We had no company, which was
nice, but also no fish, which wasn't so nice. A beautiful day until (as Jim
mentioned) the wind wore us out. Saw a few fish deep in a deep hole, and one
splashy rise to a midge (huge midge hatch) but that was it.
