Due to the way my email program works Jere sent this to me when it was
intended for the list.

I'm in a huge, boatland location for smaller, lake design boats from Hyde
and Clackacraft. The make smaller versions with the blunt front end, rather
than the riverboat design, that work well for 2 person, fly fishers. Some
could be re-furbished, in good shape used etc. These guys are really in the
business over here. I don't want to bad mouth Lavro. I've owned one for
many, many years and they are well made....But, the pricing is much better
on either of the two I mentioned. Lavro has about 3-5 boats out in the lot.
These guys have over 100 each! Hyde just called me to guide for them and
I'm buying a Clackacraft! How do you deal with that one? I'd take a look
at their boats for you and give you pricing. Other than that, a
flat-bottomed LOWE comes to mind. They are a rivited aluminum that is
employed by Alaskan Resort operators bigtime, for one. They are light, not
that expensive, and can be rowed as well as put a sizable motor on. Jere
