Aeneas had a few triploids planted two years ago as an experiement to see how they
did. Well, they have done well. These are some seriously strong fish and I grew up
battling the fish in Chopaka and Aeneas.

The first fish my niece ever caught was a 24 incher. Her second one was larger then
that but we didn't get a good measurement on it. I am looking forward to taking my
son there this weekend. I will be sure to post a report.

I haven't heard about Triploids in Chopaka. The Okanogan County fly club works pretty
close with the DFW in that area and they were still warming up to the idea of
Triploids a few years ago. I think the great fishing in Aeneas may have changed some
minds. I don't to very many meetings so haven't got the latest info. I will talk to
a few members this weekend to get a local perspective on what has been planted where.
