Thanks Mike, I thought I read that there was a plant in Chopaka and several
other eastside lakes in the fall of 99' on the WDFW web page about that
time.Either way, I support the planting of triploids especially after
catching several at lenice this year and last. Fantastic firm bright fish. I
will attempt to contact one of the biologists and confirm or deny any plants
in Chopaka and let you know. I heard a rumor that it is being considered for
rehab to get rid of the bass. Have you heard anything about that?

Subject: Okanogan County Triploids (was Chopaka emerger)

> Aeneas had a few triploids planted two years ago as an experiement to see
how they did. Well, they have done well. These are some seriously strong
fish and I grew up battling the fish in Chopaka and Aeneas.

larger then that but we didn't get a good measurement on it. I am looking
forward to taking my son there this weekend. I will be sure to post a
report.

> I haven't heard about Triploids in Chopaka. The Okanogan County fly club
works pretty close with the DFW in that area and they were still warming up
to the idea of Triploids a few years ago. I think the great fishing in
Aeneas may have changed some minds. I don't to very many meetings so
haven't got the latest info. I will talk to a few members this weekend to
get a local perspective on what has been planted where.
