Howdy Mike,

I just stopped by my house after giving up on Aeneas at about 3:00 pm. I
think you summed things up fairly well for the opener in NE Washington. The
weather sucked for the most part; colder and windier today than Saturday.
There were a few hard core types who tried to stick it out today (Sunday)
but by 10:00 there were only 4 or 5 left and by noon only one. Even a
couple of die hard chironomid addicts who had been very persistent (and
fairly successful considering there never was a real hatch) gave it up.
When the weather changes it should get good as there will be a lot of
frustrated bugs who've been waiting to get out of the water. That should
make some frustrated fly fishermen happy. I'll be headed back tomorrow so
if it happens in the next couple of weeks I'll be there.

I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

Keith

Saturday morning I fished Aeneas Lake with my brother and his friend. I
think fishing was pretty good but we got blown off the lake 3 different
times in 6 hours. My
