I've just returned and don't understand the total deal. To complicate
matters, I'm slow to learn!! My brother emailed me and said that it looked
like the North Fork(Henry's Fork was UP because farmers were selling their
power) Potatoes are losing money right now and they were thinking about
selling their power to augment their incomes. I just crossed the South Fork
at Heise Hot Springs and the flow was up; runnoff starting more than likely.
There was also something on TV about the Snake river Reservoirs being one of
the few water sources that has plenty of water...?? I just don't understand
the whole deal, haven't been here long enough, but then again, I fished the
Yakima for years and never truly understood their releases either. Jere
