Sean, wrap some small black v-rib on a size 14 Tiemco 2487bl hook with a
white bead at the top of the fly. Only four components; Hook, V-rib, white
bead,and black Kevlar thread. I had easily a fifty fish day at Lenore with
this one in March. Also productive at Lenice and Chopaka.Very Basic.
Something else you may want to try is fish the chironomid with in a foot of
the bottom. Good luck
