The answer is yes. I have caught a few cuts last week (wednesday and sunday).
My favorite technique is sight fishing and these SRC are unbelievable, when
your nymph hits the water, they arrive, it is like a magnet for them. It is
great to be able to see them taking your fly. I also managed to catch a
steelhead (no problem of identification for that one) and I saw a really nice
steelhead that didn't take my fly (not deep enough, the eternal problem). When
I came back to that spot, it was a little bit windy and I didn't see any
steelhead but I caught a few cutthroat, whitefish and a sucker. This time, I
was really deep thanks to the weird flies that I tie.
I'll be back this week-end if the water level is still OK.
