The Virtual flyshop has a nice pattern under the flytiers bench for the
Pollywog. We used this pattern last year on the Yetna river with very good
success. Both silvers and large rainbows were receptive to the pattern.
The other hot pattern(s) for our group were the egg sucking leach tied with
Krystal chenille (purples and blacks) and the red Flash Fly (heavily tied).

Subject: Flys for Silvers in AK?

I am starting to tie for a mid-September trip to the Yakutat area. I plan
to fish the middle of the silver run on the Situk, Dangerous, Akwe, and
possibly Italo (salt as well...why not, eh?). Looking for suggested
patterns & presentation. There was a recipe for big pink Wogs in one of the
early NW Flyfishing mags that I can't locate. Can anyone point me to that
recipe? How about other suggestions?
