The last couple of days have been productive on the Skykomish bringing fish to a fly. Two days in a row I have been rewarded with multiple fish releasing two Steelhead, one hatchery one native, a char, and even an early chrome bright Humpy. If you fish for humpies you know what color was working. The water has been low and clear but is great to fish right now. Releasing a humpy this early was a nice surprise. Perhaps the sign of a good run.? A few kings around but not as many as when the netting in Puget Sound was suspended temporarily three years ago. Tonight the Stilly.
