Mike,

I spent 3 days at Leech Lake about a week ago. Lots of 7" to 10"
easterns jumping. Weather was fine and wind was on & off as normal.

Hatches were damsels, dark grey/black mayflies, and dark brown caddis. 

I had most luck with a #18 dark brown caddis. Wing was dark turkey quill
or dark brown swiss straw. I really didn't do any nymph fishing to speak
of. 

NOTE! If you plan on camping, bring plenty of deet or mosquito repellent
or you'll be much to busy to fish!
