What you say is true, unless you have a clipped
artery. My only point is that if we are all
comfortable catching rubber trout, salmon and
steelhead and refuse to address the habitat and
commercialization issues head-on, the viscious cycle
will continue until all that's left are genetically
inferior hatchery salmonids. Then, when they're gone,
your grandkids and mine will be angling in our
Blue-Ribbon squawfish rivers. Selfishly, that's not
what I want.
As for Mr. Singletary, I know not his level of
fisheries knowledge nor the status of his memory loss.
I was just confused by the contradiction and meant no
insult. If any was taken, Mr. Singletary, I apologize.
