I have a dressing similar to yours christened the
Blighty Irrationator where I use Antron much like you
described in your post; the difference being that the
wing is mottled via a technique whereby I render the
post mottled and very similar-looking to a Grizzly
hackle. Great fly, especially for those turbulent
spates and doltish cutts, that was inspired by a
genuine gentleman and great friend, Sir David Brameld
of Township Leavenworth.
