Well, I ended up sleeping in, and negotiated with the wife for Sunday to be a full fishing day for me, and I am now pondering: Bass fishing in a local lake? Salmon on the sound? Steelhead or salmon on the rivers? Trout in a lake or river? From my vantage nothing seems red-hot enough to call itself out, so I am looking for some reports or suggestions. And its been a long time since I have had a decent day's catching, so some real action would be nice. BTW, my normal fishing partner is AWOL, so I will be glad to buddy up with someone from this list.
