Exactly. The big guys have mostly crap because they also buy on price. And
try to test that rod out in the GI Joe parking lot. And how about hanging
out at Walmart and sharing a few tall fishing tales? . . . or a holiday
drink?
Thats also why i don't worry too much about the shops. Even the best are
marginal business propositions. Its a labor of love. And Im not about to
worry about the few bucks difference quality gear costs when not sold by
some retail serf.
Don't they teach "penny wise, pound foolish" anymore?
