My aunt owns the property across the river from the RV park and has lived there for 30 years. She says this is one of the best years she has seen and a lot of fish have been caught. Talked to her this week and she said plenty are still around. She charges $5 to fish on her land and has made almost $5,000 dollars so far. She used to not charge a thing but unfortunately most anglers dont bother to clean up after themselves. She also has some good access to the river up around the corner from the RV park where I have caught silvers with spinners when I was younger. Hopefully I can entice some with then fly and the forecasted rain on Saturday would be a big help.

I have not fished it but have driven through the fly fishing area and basically you are on a high bank looking down into what is pocket water. Get there early enough and I imagine you will have a good shot at a steelhead or two.

I will be there on Saturday and Sunday this weekend and will post a report on my return.

Has anyone fished the Kalama recently? Are there any fish in there now? Any recommendation for good spots to access via pontoon boat or from the bank? I remember last year about this time Justin Teagarden releasing fish up to twenty pounds so I though it might be worth the drive. Any suggestions would be appreciated. best regards,--- PATRICK PETERSEN--- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
