Well said and I now own acouple Okuma reels after all the discussion about them. I only occassionaly reply here as my expertise is only in Building Flyrods. I've learned quite a bit about flyfishing from this site, and appriciate those who willingly pass on there knowledge. I would also like to here from those who know everything there is to know about flyfishing and can't learn anything else.  Duncan

The way I read Kent's message was that he was pondering an issue and looking for other's thoughts - mission accomplished, I think this thread is longer than the Okuma Reel discussion. Speaking of which, thanks to all as I now own one and am delighted with it.

Personally, I feel that everyone gains from a well run site like this. A basic question from a new FF'er tends to make me think about how to respond so I think about the basics again and that's not all bad is it? I may not get a chance to answer as often several others cover the subject very well.

Like many, time is not always available to give a day by day report. Especially when like the last few outings, it would be lessons in how to get skunked and frustration. So I keep reading posts, get encouraged and go out and flail the Sky or the Sound again.

Terry Warwick - if you want to hook up for a few hours Sat. or Sun. e-mail me but be advised, I may only be able to show you what not to do.

This is an excellent resource for FF'ers in the area and I, for one, would hate to see it suffer from squabbles. Lighten up, its only fishing( I know "Blasphemer - stone him").
