John,

I just picked up a magazine at our local Safeway entitled "PC Photos &
Video - How to Create, Shoot & Manipulate Digital Images" I picked up
Volume 7 Issue 11. It contains a buyer's guide to digital cameras as well
as a wealth of other information on the topic of imaging, both digital,
still, as well as storage, and converting to and from analog devices. This
issue may be of interest to you in your decision making.

I, personally, have an Epson 750z that I am very happy with. I have had it
for about 3 years, so I am sure the new cameras have many additional
features. The one thing I noticed is that the Epson cameras have superior
software accompanying them to assist in transferring images to and from the
camera. If file management isn't a challenge for you then that won't be an
issue. It is essential though for a beginner.

Hope you find this info useful.

Terry

Subject: Digital Camera Advice

Hi Gang,

...a little off the list theme...(and may have already been posted), but I
don't have access to any reference material. Maybe someone can help.

I am looking for a new digital camera- one that will provide great macro
pictures (size 22-24 flies). Max I am willing to fork out is $1,000.00 and
under. I need something of quality for a website... TIA

John
