I read the proposed regs Kent, and noticed they wanted to move the start date for the Hampton lakes from March 1st to April 1st. Shame as those lakes usually perform real good right after the ice goes out.
Also I wouldn't think we'd have much chance of changing their minds on that as I believe the CWR requested the date changes. There are a few other lakes in that area that also have the same requested changed opener dates. Normally the majority of ducks on those lakes in March are mergies and cormorants... both fish eaters.
