I had a pair also. I remember bundling up inside with every piece of warm underwear I owned in order to keep warm in the winter.
I also remember that whenever you got a little pinprick hole, it had the unwelcome tendancy to become a large tear at any moment. The last time I wore my Seal-Dri's, I was walking a path through the woods in the dark to the Bow River, up high in Banff where it is white glacial water, and unknowingly snagged them on a blackberry bush. By the time I reached the river and stepped in, there was a six inch gash about mid-thigh high. The water poured in, my legs went numb and my cohones sucked up somewhere deep into my body. I turned to get out and fell on my face. I was suddenly wearing a fat suit. I got up and waddled to the bank. I took off the waders, drained them and put them back on as fast as I could then raced back to the hotel while shivering uncontrollably. My wife and kid were still sleeping and I took the hottest and longest shower I have ever had. Leland.
