Caddis for Kids is a 24 hour, fly tying marathon. This
year will mark the 2nd annual event held at The Silver
Bow in Spokane. Throughout the course of the winter I
take pledges on a per-fly basis then in March sit at
the vise for 24 contiguous hours and tie a pattern
called the Miracle Caddis (goto www.virtualflybox.com
for moe info). All the proceeds generated benefit the
Inland Empire Children's Miracle Network (CMN).

CMN is a non-profit organization that includes 170
hospitals across the continent. The charity benefits
about 14 million kids annually throuh treatments and
surgical care, disease research and many different
family support services. The cool thing is that the
money made locally, stays local so everything I
generate stays in the Inland Empire area network. I'm
still getting the bugs worked out, so to speak (pardon
the pun), but once it is a little more refined of a
project I hope to have one in the Seattle/Tacoma area
as well and maybe even more.

Additionally there are Caddis Packs (six-packs of the
Miracle Caddis) being sold at the Silver Bow with a
portion of the proceeds of each sale going directly to
CMN in Spokane.

Anyone interested in more info or making a pledge can
either e-mail me direct or contact Terri Fortner at
CMN in Spokane at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks for asking Richard!

Happy Holidays!
