No problem!! I had the pleasure of catching a 25 pounder out of Kootenay three years ago. Unfortunately we were there during August so had to use salmon gear and a down rigger to get to them but it was still an amazing experience. I hope to go back in the cool months and target them on top.
The silvers are the main food source in both lakes. The one I caught had 7, 4 inch silvers in its stomach and was still wanting more. No wonder they get so big. To give the list members an idea how big these fish get, here are the measurements of the fish I caught: Length: 34 inches Tail: 12 inches Girth: 24.5 inches These fish aren't like the fat triploid pigs you see out of Rufus Woods Lake. They are streamlined, muscular and amazing fish. If anybody wants a thrill of a lifetime, wonder over to either one of these lakes for a few days. Mike
