I just returned from a trip to Mexico, via Alaska Air, and carried on my 9'
10 wt 3 piece and a 9' 12 wt. 4 piece, with no problems or hassles.  I also
carried on my reels and lines.  HOWEVER, I could not carry on my flies (no
hooks allowed).
