I have a question for those who know the fishing regs. In an area designated "Fly Fishing Only", can an angler:
use 2 flies such as a dry with a nymph dropper? Some fly shops tell me yes and some tell me no. I can not determine which is correct from reading the pamphlet. use a sinktip fly line? Does the sink tip count as "weight on the fly line"? If a sinktip fly line is legal, does it make any difference if I use a standard one-piece sink tip vs. a Rio fly line with interchangeable tips? In an area designated "Selective Gear Rules", can an angler: use 2 flies such as a dry with a nymph dropper? This one seems a clear NO than the Fly Fishing Only regs but I threw it in anyway. I vote for a total rewrite of the regs to make them clearer. Andy S.
