Fished the Swift Creek run today for the first time this year. Every year I
arrive about two weeks late. Had a great day hooking over 30, most were fair
hooked. Did not encounter any fresh fish, lots are sleeping along the shore
on the rocks. Despite their ripe state, many were full of spunk still and
very willing to bite the fly. Most productive color was pink/cherice <sp?>

Lots of fun. four flyfishers and one gear chucker through the day. Many
triple headers. As always, the fly guys vastly outperformed the
worm-soakers.
