Swift Creek is ~38 miles upstream from I-5 when taking the Sedro Wooley exit
(which is a more direct route to Hwy 20 than to go through Burlington). It
is past Concrete and just past the Hwy 530 junction. I believe the last mile
marker you will see is "mile 99". You will see a sign denoting Swift Creek
and there is a parking area on the left side of the road.

Just hike down the creek and head upstream. Fish anywhere below the gravel
bar. The fresher fish (if you can call them that) are usually holding a
little more into the current than the ones that are about to fall asleep for
the last time. These ones that are dozing off are at your feet as you are
casting. Good luck!

Dave, As I live on Whidbey, the Skagit is the first river I come to without
taking the ferry. I would like to take an exploring trip up there to learn
for next year. Where is Swift Creek in relation to say Rockport?
