You can find fish now but not in as good of numbers as you will find towards
February . I didn't really start getting serious about things last year until
the start of February but had some luck last weekend at a local Seattle beach
for small coho. By small I am talking a 12 inch average but better than no fish.

At some of the beaches last year cutts were avail in early February but really
started to show up in greater numbers as the months wore on.It doesn't look like
we are going to have the non-winter we had last year though so the fishing may
be a little wet compared to last year. Which is probably a good thing
considering the drought and all but it sure was nice while it lasted.

I am sure some of the guys on the board who have been doing it for years can
provide a little better info though. The main thing is just getting out there
and finding the fish.
