I
noticed if I access at S. Whidbey State Park, I can travel either north or south
on the beach. Which way would you recommend I go? Does this stretch of beach
have fish, or do I need to position myself exactly on Lagoon Pt. or Bush Pt? Are
there any signs to watch for that indicate steelhead, or do you pretty much just
cast and hope?

I fished Bush Pt. this evening . . . nothing.
Talked to a couple local "flyguy's who said there are a few fish around, but nothing real hot.
I am going to be in Allyn, (Leland's landmark: home of the Big Bubba Burger), for a few days and plan on checking out the Coho's of the Narrows.
Remind me, was it during and ebb that the brat's are snarfing on the surface?
