Hi Tim,
I've been trying out the cut fishing in the lower Stilly and Skagit bay for the
last summer.  Have had marginal success, but have not spent a ton of time
trying.  I ususally put out some crab pots and then run around for a while and
look for action.  There are a lot of areas that need to be explored.  There may
be little there, but it may be a fishing bonanza....don't know yet, but I'm
willing to give it a try.
I also want to explore the Skagit delta in spring.  That is supposed to be a
great cut fishery, and under fished.
Let me know what you find and I'll be glad to share.
I plan to put the boat in a few times in the next week.  The weather looks good
and the tides are in the middle of the day.  Good combination.
