For all those wondering the best time to fish the beach, what current, what weather? Well, Against all logic, I fished the North Sound, Mid-day, in full sun, on an outgoing tide... (Conventional wisdom would say I have the least chance of hooking up under these conditions.) Saw two lively SRCs break the surface not 6 feet off shore, and managed to get one to take, but LDR'd. (Sand Lance pattern) Moral of the story? Get out and fish.
