Marabou action

As a confirmed marabou junkie for our winter and spring steelhead here in N.W. WA., I believe the "action" of marabou is accentuated by tying bicolored flies.  
Typically I tie a dark color in front of a lighter color.  The darker color, waving and shivering in the current over the lighter colored aft portion of the fly accentuates the "action" marabou is famous for.
Check it out in the water . . . it is anything but subtle.
