I have kind of a dumb question. When you guys fish for searuns in the salt from the beach, are you wearing your waders or hip or over the calf boots? and getting into the water as deep as you can or are you just ankle deep most of the time? I realize this would depend on the wave action also, but I have no idea how far out the searuns travel from shore.
reason I ask is there are a couple of places I would like to fish but because of the walking distance I don't want to wear/carry my waders to them if I don't have to. Would prefer to just wear over the calf boots unless this limits the fishing. Thank you, Ray :-)
