Fishing report

Today I decided to take a drive and went to Sequim to fish the Dungeness River.  Apparently there was a late run of salmon last week and there were a few fresh carcasses.  As par to normal once again I was late.  I fished the stretch from the bridge by the game farm to the game farm and had one hookup, about a 10"-12" on a clouser minnow, he was of course an LDR.  Instead of stripping him in or giving line until the reel I tried to reel up loose line and fight at the same time.  Well that makes me about 0 for 50 when I do that.  Saw some eagles and no rain all in all an excellent day for a walk along a beautiful river.  Water level was decent and clarity was superb.     Flig
