It was a good day. A steelhead would have made it great, but all things considered, it was a good day. I got into the office at 7:30 this morning and futzed around until 11 when I took off for the Sky. The water was low and clear and it was overcast and warm enough to wear a fleece top only. I fished a favorite run through twice with different colors and, to add to the pleasure, it was a good casting day. The sun came out and I enjoyed a good cigar as I worked my way through the run. I finished at 2:30 and drove back to the office, got my mail and found a check from a client. I futzed around some more until 4:30 when I drove over to Earl Harpers studio and had a beer. Life is good.
Leland.
