You guys are some sick puppies for intentionally pursuing Bugle Lips. Lol!! Seriously, I hear they are quite the fighter and are gaining popularity with fly anglers but as a trout snob I find them incredibly ugly.
A good carp lake to consider if you come to the Columbia Basin is the Potholes Res. Just off the boat ramp at the State Park you will find about a dozen rolling in the shallows at any given time and they are big. My father in law hooked one on a bass rig one time that we had to chase down with the boat for 20 minutes before it got tired. Well over 12 pounds. Mike
