Fished Lenise in a crowd Saturday.  Windless morning, but a cold wind kicked up in the afternoon.  It was slow but fun because I got to break-in my new G-3 Loomis 3 wt.  I landed 6-7 fish 17-20 inches. They were all feisty, strong fish. I had three on chironomids and landed one.  The others were on my version of the raccoon:  peacock body w/ white antron over the top instead of deer hair. The antron is more durable than deer hair. A friend also had his fish on the raccoon. He lost one (a brown he thought) which would have gone 25-26 inches. The top water bite lasted until we left at 5:30pm.   Water temp was 46 degrees.
