Just a note to let those of you who didn't make it down to Eugene yesterday,
you missed a great time; over 170 fly tiers tying from 9:00 in the morning
until 5:00 PM. Harry Lemire, as usual, was tying full-dressed Atlantic
salmon flies without the use of a vise, and lots of us mere mortals were
there too. I was tying Callibaetis nymphs, emergers, duns and spinners,
filling up my lake box with the ones I didn't give away. Keep it in mind
for next year.
